In such a seemingly simple way, the Joy of Sox transforms lives. People who need socks are indeed overjoyed at the gift of pairs of socks to comfort aching feet. People who learn of the Joy of Sox, its mission, and its accomplishments begin to see the world differently, enter into relationship with people who are experiencing poverty and/or homelessness, and begin to work to provide direct assistance to those who need it.
