I have been donating regularly to Modest Needs for over 15 years. I love the model of providing small-amount, one-time assistance to people who just need a lifeline to get over a tough time. I value being able to see the faces and stories behind the ask, and to sort by geography if I want to help people in my own state. Modest Needs started as a lean organization and it remains one, commited to the people it tries to serve first and foremost. It has vision and a successful model that continues to be refined and honed. I think it is an excellent charity and highly recommend it to other donors.
