I've been a monthly contributor to Modest Needs Foundation for years now. I was (and still am) hooked by the simplicity of the mission - stopping the domino-like downward spiral effect of a situation before it adversely affects someone's whole life. Modest Needs allows someone to get a helping hand, not a handout. I can't say enough of how much I respect the good work that Modest Needs does daily.
