Review for The League of Amazing Programmers, San Diego, CA, USA
I have been a student with The League of Amazing Programmers since it's inception four years ago. This non-profit organization has been nothing short of amazing. The League teaches young people how to code extremely effectively.
The faculty at The League is unparalleled, with mentors that come right from industry teaching students techniques and strategies used by those working in the field. Their proprietary curriculum is well organized, easy to follow, and allows students to achieve mastery of Java at very young ages. There is tremendous camaraderie among students working to achieve each successive Level of skill. I'm not sure where I'd be in my educational journey if I had not stumbled on The League that summer after Middle School.
By the time I graduate from High School I will have become a Certified Java Professional, thanks to the encouragement, support and incredible vision of the faculty and staff at The League of Amazing Programmers. For anyone interested in learning programming languages, you won't regret diving into one of their workshops.
To potential donors or anyone willing to financially support The League, you are helping to create a generation of young people who are well prepared to handle the demands of a high tech world. The League are good stewards of their resources and my parents have always been very happy to support this non-profit.
Finally, The League founders, Vic and Diane Wintriss, are two of the most inspirational people I have ever met in my life, and I owe them tremendous gratitude for being so giving of their time, talent and being incredible visionaries by starting this organization.
