About 12 years ago I picked up a stray rabbit in my neighborhood.Being a novice bunny owner I was looking for information how to care for him,i came across HRS of Chicago's website.They had info for everyone from novice to expert.It is still my #1 place to go for rabbit questions.I found out about a rabbit spa day they hold several times a year,i decided to go.As they were grooming my rabbit and clipping his nails they noticed a problem with his ear and recommended I see a vet.It turned out to be mites,a common ailment but one that can cause many problems if left untreated,As a beginner rabbit owner I believe their advice saved me a lot of vet bills and my rabbit a lot of pain.I recently adopted a bonded pair from them and couldn't be happier about it!I know they will be there thru the years to help with any questions I might have.They are so committed to making house rabbits have better lives and educating the public on the joys of owning one!I am very glad to have connected with this wonderful group!
