I have volunteered here at Pasado's Safe Haven, specifically the dog area, several times, and it is truly a sanctuary away from the suffering the animals have endured. Beautiful relaxing rural environment. I prefer volunteering here than in shelters.

Best rescue I've ever volunteered for. Much better environment for the animals compared to the typical animal shelters with overcrowded kennels. It is in a natural setting, and well-designed. The dogs have their own little cabins with a doggy door to their own yard. Nice short trail by a stream and roads around the sanctuary to walk the dogs.
