There is not one word for this generous, dedicated, loving bunch of friends who make up North Central Maltese rescue. I have To say the hours these people have driven to save these loved pups is endless. To the day the ladies saw the little Maltese being thrown into the ocean and watching it come in on a wave "Brave," walking over handing the dog owner money for the pup and the owner took the money and handed over the pup. One life saved! Then there was another time,'when they ventured into the ghetto to get a pup. They parked around the corner and one stayed in the car because they weren't sure how it was going to go. Sure enough another "Brave," moment etched into a successful trip of money versus the love for a pup. "Another pup rescued." There are millions of these stories including their debut on TV with pup on wheels! I truly believe these ladies and gentlemen have opened up the world of "puppy mills ,". Across state lines and to people around the world. These ladies are mighty! The activities and events they put on cannot be measured by stars- and know that everyone knows, shares,laughs and cries when a new pup comes in, to another pup getting new pup clothes, to toys that are great, and how to remove tear stains with the best of the best. They come together when another is called to the rainbow bridge and share all the wonderful stories that have passed through their lives. The bond they have created with the one true vet and the lives he has touched through happiness, pure joy, to the transformation of fragile pups to pups that go on to show all of us the sheer joy and love they have to offer. One day I needed information and stumbled upon their website. I have liked them on Facebook, but most importantly you have all taught me so much that I feel like I know all of you. When it comes time for me to adopt a Maltese it will definitely be from your rescue. I have shared so much of your wisdom on Maltese with friends and family. The photos of the before and after bring me to tears every time (including now)! You are not a rescue you are all called to care, love and guide these pups as they are your children- the lives you have all saved are endless your dedication and perseverance is the best I have ever seen! Hands down the most amazing miracles are your hearts and your hands for all the pups you have saved, will save, and may the bond this rescue has. Into us to grow and show the world there are no places for puppy mills!!! You are powerful, strong and courageous "miracle workers!" Amen!
