I've been a member of Assistance League in two different states. It's such a wonderful organization that serves needs in the community. The nicest thing about Assistance League is that each chapter researches what is needed in their own community and then works to fill that need. The signature program is Operation School Bell and it covers five areas of need: clothing, supplies, health, literacy and hunger. Greater Wilmington has programs that fill those needs in the 38 schools they serve in the tri-county area.
