I am the president of a non-profit parrot rescue in the Coastal bend. We frequently get calls to our hotline regarding injured wild birds and shore birds and we usually refer them to Texas Sealife Center. I really appreciate everything that the staff at the Texas Sealife Center does to help not only turtles but also injured birds. Their facility on the Island is a great learning resource for people to discover why it's so important to dispose of your trash properly.
