My husband and I have been volunteering with Save the Chimps since March 2017.

This sanctuary is a wonderful place for chimpanzees to live out their lives. Many were rescued from medical research, the entertainment industry, etc. So many have been mistreated or abused.

The employees truly care about these animals. They speak of them like they are family.

There are so many volunteer opportunities available from office work, preparing food and treats, lawn maintenance, etc. Volunteers are crucial to the success of this organization. I would encourage you to volunteer if you can.

As with any non-profit, it takes connections, resources and money to fulfill the mission. We support Save the Chimps financially, by fund raising and volunteering. Truly a great organization.
