Review for Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County, New Castle, PA, USA
The Shelter's services are much more comprehensive than what one would expect at first glance. Not only does the Shelter staff assist victims of domestic violence, they also work to end the cyle of violence for all people, regardless of age or gender. To name just a few tough issues that the Shelter addresses: bullying in the schools, sexting among teens and children, elder abuse, special concerns regarding domestic violence in the LGBT community, specific issues involved with rural violence, sexual abuse of children, acquaintance rape and stranger rape, stalking. Lawrence County is fortunate to have a progressive, all-encompassing Shelter that is dedicated to ending the cycle of violence and staying on top of difficult issues that arise in our community. And the Shelter is fortunate to have caring community members such as the District Attorney's office and the Fraternal Order of Police. When we all come together, we are sure to make a difference!

when talking with people who have been helped by the Shelter. Many, many people are living not only safer, but richer lives as a result of the Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County. They feel the love and support within a community.
