I got started with Pathways to Volunteering through a meet up event that Craig listed. It was to help sort books for Big Sunday. I brought along my friend who is also an avid volunteer and both of us had a lot of fun! Craig was very organized and welcoming, and the event had a lot of volunteers who were excited and happy to be there. Throughout the entire event, I had fun sorting, labeling and packaging up books with fellow volunteers. Craig also checked in on us to make sure we stayed hydrated and were resting if we were tired. He mentioned about a few upcoming events and I look forward in participating those in the near future!
