Assistance League is an organization that few people know about, but it does great work throughout many states. Being part of helping a underserved students get new school clothing has been extremely rewarding and enlightening to me. Growing up I never had to worry about clothes, shoes, hygiene products...I was lucky they were there when I needed them or a simple trip to the Mall to get what I needed. Assistance League supplies the much needed items to kids living in poverty which helps to increase self-esteem and making a difference in a life of a student so they may achieve success not only academically, but also in their lifetime.
