I had the pleasure of touring Panther Ridge Conservation Center last week. The grounds are beautiful, and the two-acre enclosure that Charlie the Cheetah has to roam is particularly impressive. The tour was very up-close and informative about the history and unique characteristics of the nineteen exotic cats in Panther Ridge. My tour took place a few weeks after Hurricane Irma, and it was fascinating to learn about the extreme care and concern that the staff exercised to ensure the safety of all the cats throughout the hurricane. The owner, Judy, head-keeper, Sadie, and entire staff of Panther Ridge are obviously dedicated to these cats, and it was truly a great experience to tour such an excellent facility.
