This year LCA released footage from their investigation at ITR Laboratories Canada ("ITR"). LCA's investigation revealed how researchers subjected beagles, macaque monkeys, and pigs to cruel tests and repeated abuse, and failed to take proper measures to mitigate the suffering that the animals endured. LCA has filed official complaints with multiple Canadian government agencies and is petitioning the Canadian government to properly prosecute ITR.
They also fight against the brutal dog and cat meat trade in South Korea and China. With full-time investigation teams on the ground and an active campaign on ending the slaughter of dogs and cats, LCA will stop at nothing to end this brutal industry.
