Our dog rescue dog "Buddy" passed away at home 2 months ago. It was hard on all of us, including our rescue dog "Toasty".
We knew we needed to get another one, but it took a month to be emotionally ready.
When the time was right, my husband contacted
Briggs Animal Adoption Center in West Virginia.
He went to meet "Cecilia", a hound & beagle mix. We ended up adopting her, and she has quickly become part of our family.
The staff at Briggs are great, and they make extra efforts to make sure that their pets are going to good homes.
The way this place is run is top notch.
I wish every shelter could be like this.
