I have only been volunteering with ConnecTeach for a brief time, but the research I have done to help has opened my eyes to to stark reality of the situation females around the world are in when it comes to education. I have helped to find information on potential grants, as well as compiling relevant policies in Uganda and India which specifically oppress women and hinder education for girls. Bhavani's unique compassion and determination to improve the lives of women around the world is exemplary, and the opportunities she has already brought to students in Uganda through ConnecTeach are invaluable.
