Review for Alaska Network On Domestic Violence And Sexual Assault Inc, Juneau, AK, USA
I have been really impressed by the work the Alaska Network on Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault has done to promote awareness of the problem in our state and to support the 18 shelters in our state. They are there for us to provide advocacy, legal assistance to victims, training, and every level of help to member organizations and victims. I think their work helped our Governor get involved in really addressing the issue in our state this year.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I've seen the results of their advocacy efforts on behalf of victims and watched lives change.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Get them to let people know more about what they do. They do so much for so many, for so little money and so little recognition.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The people are amazing and really committed to the work. Their trainings are great and the services they provide to victims, including legal advocacy services, are really needed.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Executive Director, directors of programs
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Make an even bigger difference in the lives of victims in our state. They could expand their training, prevention and legal advocacy projects and do even more great work.
Ways to make it better...
I can't think of anything that would make them better except to give them more money so they could do more!
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Sustaining their funding
One thing I'd also say is that...
Keep up the great work.
