As a thank you gift to our wedding guests, my wife and I 'adopted' snow leopards from the Snow Leopard Trust in the name of each of our wedding guest/couples. We felt that rather than gift our guest with another cute trinket or a potentially forgettable treat, we could use the opportunity to make a difference in the world by giving a lasting gift to our friends and family, and spread the word of the amazing work the SLT does. Our guests received personalized thank you packets from the trust including an informative breakdown of what exactly the Snow Leopard Trust does, as well as a super cute snow leopard plushy. Our plushy lives in our living room and it reminds us of our special day whenever we look at it. The staff at the Snow Leopard Trust were absolutely wonderful to work with in setting up our gifts, and they continue to send us personalized notes every year to thank us. They really do appreciate their donors. And I should note that our gifts (my wife's idea) was certainly a hit with our guests :).
