My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Senase Project Inc, Scottsbluff, NE, USA
I have had the blessed opportunity to sponsor three students in Ghana because of the tireless efforts of the Senase Project. They have provided me three amazing children to sponsor their educations. I am able to help to feed them, provide them with needed classroom materials and uniforms to attend class.
I sent money last Christmas for my first student to buy something for himself for fun and something he needed. I cried when he sent me a letter and apologized that he used the money to put a new roof on the house that he lived in with his foster family (both of his parents have died). Well I cried that my simple donation bought a roof for his home.
It certainly makes my 33 years of teaching pale in comparison to how little these children at Akatim village have and how much we, in the United States are blessed with.
The Senase Project has provided me the opportunity to help children who have no one to give them a hand up. This project has built a proper school, provides learning materials and makes sure the children get the best education they can have.
One year I helped pay for a motorcycle with a cart to bring the small children to school as they were unable to walk the many mile to get there.
I have had the school painted, helped to buy a laptop for the headmaster, and gave money to get solar lighting so the children could do their homework at night.
Without the Senase Project many of these children would not be getting an education. It is with much joy that I make my donation every month so Karim, Safia and Comfort can have the best opportunity for an education.
The Senase Project rocks in my book and I will continue to support this group of young people who took their concern for education to another level.
