Review for Washburn Center for Children, Minneapolis, MN, USA
Washburn Center for Children works hard to incorporate health lifestyles for the children who attend its services. Employees are always looking for better ways in which they can educate themselves about their surroundings and the children's lives in order to be able to help them appropriately.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Learning more about the company through volunteering, internal meetings and meeting other employees. Also in research and gaining better insight about how successful Washburn is with the children and families.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Create a greater market for its services. I think this is a great program that everyone should know about. If Washburn's services were known through out more communities, I think it would gain many more families and hopeful children.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Everyone works hard! The key component to all our work is to always help others.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Very helpful and nice. It is easy to create conversation and hear different kinds of inspiring experiences.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Build a new facility creating and lager space for more children and families. Advertise to every community and/or even make another facility to incorporate even more communities and families.
Ways to make it better...
I was able to work directly with the children. However, it is great to see the results of my work with the fundraisers.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
The fundraising and sponsorships. We work hard to create revenue to produce the kind of support that we need.
One thing I'd also say is that...
It has been a great experience being with Washburn so far. I can see why these kinds of services are important to our communities and for our children's future. Everyone should participate!
