Exposing the Cruelty of Animal Testing - This year LCA released footage from our 2016 undercover investigation at ITR Laboratories Canada ("ITR"). LCA's investigation revealed how researchers subjected beagles, macaque monkeys, and pigs to cruel tests and repeated abuse, and failed to take proper measures to mitigate the suffering that the animals endured. LCA has filed official complaints with multiple Canadian government agencies and is petitioning the Canadian government to properly prosecute ITR.

Stopping the Dog Meat Trade - LCA is hard at work in South Korea and China to stop the brutal dog and cat meat trade. With full-time investigation teams on the ground and an active campaign on ending the slaughter of dogs and cats, LCA will stop at nothing to end this brutal industry.

Bringing an End to Circus Cruelty - After countless
protests and advocacy, Ringling Bros. finally shut down on May 21, 2017. LCA has been at the forefront of this issue, leading the charge to see the end of this cruel industry. The end of Ringling Bros. has been a hard-won victory through years of investigations and campaigns.
