I few years ago I found myself in a very deep and dangerous depression. At the lowest part I felt like I couldn’t even make it through the night, that’s when I called the Hopeline. I talked with someone there for a few hours and I truly feel they saved my life. Not only did they help me in that moment of crisis but the Volunteer give me the information I needed to seek and receive longer care for my depression. Since that night I have talked openly about my depression and have heard from many others like me who feel they have been saved by the Hopeline being there in their time of need. The Hopeline is a safe and caring place for someone to seek refuge from the dark hell of depression and suicide. I’m not sure if one could ever truly count the number of lives Hopeline affects in such a positive way. Thank you
