I have been a climber at Mohonk for 40 years now and feel so fortunate to have this incredible place to climb and to have in my backyard. The Mohonk Preserve is a tremendous gift to all of us; the staff has done an incredible job of maintaining the area, protecting the landscape, doing scientific research, educating thousands of kids about the importance of the natural world--truly great work.
The reason i chose to make my life here is because of the Mohonk Preserve. I have never regretted a moment of that decision.
