Karen is an animal lover above all...Her role is to try to get animals adopted rather than people going to Breeders aka Puppy Mills..It is a truly noble endeavor. I met her when she was on the Board of Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter...

She really tries ,she realizes more than anyone that an animal left too long in a shelter will end up euthanized or transferred to a Kill Shelter...She is the guardian of these poor precious creatures
