I have been a student of holistic health and psychology for over 15 years and just this summer I was diagnosed with stage three thyroid cancer. The Simonton Cancer Counseling Center was recommended to me right before my radioactive iodine treatment and I'm so grateful I was able to attend the counseling prior to the treatment. The five days I spent with Simonton Cancer Counseling Center were life-altering. The caliber of counseling and counselors was evident from the beginning. I felt the subtle and profound changes throughout the five days, but the aftermath was most impressive, leaving me with feelings of confidence and positivity. I believe (and still believe) that I could take whatever diagnosis came my way. Cancer is difficult enough without all the added stress and fear. The Simonton Cancer Counseling Center equipped me with the tools to transcend unnecessary stress and fears - not just with cancer but in life - and for that I will be forever grateful.
