Using no donated funds to pay any staff or herself, Karen has built an effective organization dedicated to the salvation of otherwise discarded and doomed pets. Using social media to network with a nationwide group of like minded individuals she has been able to save hundreds of animals. Using social media as well she has been able to expose and shame, and by doing so, hopefully, stop the abuse of numerous animals as well. Great job without diverting donations to overhead.
