MCEC is an amazing organization. My husband and I were both raised in the military with fathers who each served 30+ years. Our parents didn't have an organization like this fighting for positive changes and educating them on how to be our best advocates as we moved from duty station to duty staion. Keep in mind, we weren't dealing with multiple deployments on top of everything else either. Our military members and their spouses "volunteer" for this lifestyle. However, in essence, our children are "drafted". With multiple deployments and numerous moves, our children face different challenges compared to their civilian couterparts. MCEC tries to level the playing field for our kids. Thanks MCEC for making a difference to those who serve on the homefront!
