I've been a member since shortly after inception making cool ties and sending care packages from my home. I love that they are non profit and all volunteer. No money is ever spent to pay anyone for their services This group of people is so giving and caring and all over the United States. The Oklahoma site is so organized I wish I lived closer as I would be there as much as possible. Names and addresses for our troops were exchanged by all and always protected. My A.F. daughter was in Iraq in 2005 and Hugs Project sent her a package she shared with her buddies. All these people breath Red White Blue. Proud to be associated with them

I've been connected to The Hugs Project since 2004. Everyone volunteers and not penny is spent on anything but items for the troops and postage. The Oklahoma group is so very organized and energized to provide comfort for out military men and women. Scattered across the United States are several smaller groups and individuals making cool ties, travel pillows, quilts and other items to send to our troops. The Hugs Project is by far the best support group there is.
