I am AMIT KUMAR, a student of NIT Jamshedpur and doing my b.tech in Civil engineering. I am getting constant help and financial support from Swami Dayanand Education Foundation since two years. I am highly indebted to SDEF for the noble work they are doing and shall be for good. My family's financial conditions are not so promising to give all the required facilities to me and my sisters. In all this hardship, this scholarship is like a silver lining in dark clouds. Now, I don't need to give any private tuitions to small children in order to earn some money for my needs. In fact, i can put that time for my co-curricular activities. I can buy expensive books, do online courses which can help me in my placement in core companies and this couldn't be possible without SDEF's financial help. It has not only helped me but also lessened the burden from my father's head. He has to bear all the expenses of my sisters already but now, he feels some relief. I also want to return the love and support to the society which is provided by SDEF to me. I will do it for sure once I would become able to do it. I want to be an IAS officer in the future. First of all, I want to get placed in a good company and I am fully dedicated to it now. After that, i will put all my herculean efforts to crack UPSC exam. I want to serve the society, to bring change in the life of unprivileged people and to help needy students like me in the same way as SDEF has helped me. I feel that this is the best organization which helps needy people.

This is Amit kumar from NIT Jamshedpur....... I have received scholarship from Swami Dayanand Education Foundation for the session 2016-17. I am very glad to tell you about my experience...... I belong to a middle class family and my father is the only earning member. I have 2 elder sisters and all the requirements of we, three children are fulfilled by my father alone. He finds it difficult to manage everything. Many times, we have to wait for buying expensive books or for filling any exam forms. But because of your support, now I can buy my books for UPSC preparation and can do some online course which will add more value to my CV. THANKS A LOT. You have not only helped me but also reduces my father's burden. I want to study more and more to be able to financially support needy children like me in future as I always want to do something for the society. Really I am very grateful to you for your act of kindness.
