A big thank you to WWP and their team who made Soldier Ride Louisville 2017 so special for me. I was by far the oldest soldier to ride in this event having served in Vietnam in 1968-69 and again in Iraq 37 years later with the Tennessee army national guard. This ride was my first and was a personal challenge to me to see how I could do, especially against the much younger fellow vets. It was a challenging ride but I held my own with the guys. A special thanks to Kristin the event organizer. She interacted with all the vets and I especially enjoyed our conversations and her genuine interest in getting to know me. I look forward to riding again and plan to ride as much as possible at home.
