My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Rainforest Partnership, Austin, TX, USA
I've had a strong interest in international communities and
environmental science since I have a sociology degree from South Korea. It is my first internship in the USA and it is going great. I studied and knew about Non-Profit Organizations and international societies and was seeking an organization which is carefully built on the good theories of NPO and global societies with a great value.
When I met Niyanta Spelman, RP's executive director, I immediately realized that this organization is the one I want to learn more about. This organization has a unique value, "partnerships" built on respectful co-relations with Amazon indigenous comunities, trying to maintain our creative vision. Therefore, RP's 10 years of operation has been special like when we participated in the UN Climate Conference.
Since we're trying to save every living thing in the Amazon forest, working with RP should be a priority for people wanting to stop climate change and deforestation.
So I've had great experiences with great coworkers and everyone's enthusiasm. Also learned a lot about running an NPO from highly experienced team members including Niyanta. RP is an absolutely amazing organization with a lot potential.
