Food and Water Action Fund are really the ideal non-profit for people who want to get engaged with organizing for a clean energy future but are not sure how. The ability to put grassroots run and organized events on their OFF fossil fuels map, and then have assistance reaching out to attendees through phonebanking, text campaigns, and follow-up emails is amazing. This is the method of organizing that we need to be developing. We can't always have professional organizers on the ground in time so the use of a distributed model is an absolute must for successful campaigns.
