We adopted our first hound from ABTR in 2008. My references were checked and my vet was called. Foster mom kept in touch and offered advice and support. We went to visit her in 2009 and adopted another hound the day of the visit. A couple of months ago, we adopted a third from the group. He had been abandoned and in need of heartworm treatment and pneumonia. This group provided veterinary care and he is thriving in our home. Our questions are always answered by foster parents. We are happy to donate whenever we can because we have seen the miracles. I included a before after photo of Cade.
