American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue is the best rescue organization I have had the pleasure of working with (and all my pets have been/are rescues). I got my lovely, exuberant hound mix, Juniper, though them in 2016. After submitting my application, the vetting process was immediate (love not waiting!). Communication was consistent and as I needed. After adopting our sweet girl, we have joined the ABTCR community, which is truly incredible. All of the people supporting one another and advocating for dogs, fosters, adopters, rescue volunteers, etc. I am so grateful to have a connection to the people and pups of this wonderful organization.
