Early on I realized that positive changes, in the lives of foster families, would only occur if there was a national organization to advocate for and tell the important role they play. I have been involved for more than 4o years, as a current Board member, former Conference Committee Chair and helping on project whenever needed. Board members and representatives of the Council of State Presidents are all volunteers, sharing their time and talents. They are all dedicated and caring people and I am proud to be a members of the Ntaional Foster Parent Association.
