I’ve been working with ICTG for about a year. My favorite thing about the work that ICTG does is that the good multiplies. Because ICTG helps leaders, who then help those they lead, a tree of health and restoration is formed. (As you can imagine, when this does not happen, leaders who are unprepared or who are experiencing burnout create ripple effects of unhealth and even retraumatization.) It's important stuff! I’ve learned that it’s impossible to prepare for every single type of disaster, but it is entirely possible to decide what kind of leader you want to be when something happens. ICTG can help you make a plan for who to be, and how your want your organization to function when there is a crisis. Check out ICTG! It will make all the difference.

I've learned a lot about ictg in the past few months and had the opportunity to attend their first annual fundraiser. I'm impressed with the work they've accomplished and am excited to support them in the years to come. Having an organization in this country that provides resources related to trauma in community has never been more relevant.
