We have been visiting the "Gunks" for over 30 years. During that time we were so impressed with the Smiley Family land conservation ethic that we decided to look into the Mohonk Preserve (MP). We have been members of the MP, now Life Members, and regular donors for probably 20 years. The level of commitment and professionalism shown by the staff and volunteers is amazing.
The MP faces, meets and balances its challenges of protecting the land, doing research, being a conscientious community neighbor, providing access and, education We would not be Life Members and donors if we did not have first hand knowledge of the integrity and passion with with the MP pursues its mission.
