As a mentor for Kars4kids children, I see first hand all the amazing work they do.
One girl I know lives in the city and was a young teenager when her mother passed away. She had to take on the role of what her mother did in the house. She was very busy cleaning and cooking while at the same time keeping up her grades and doing well in school. Kars4kids sponsored her summer in camp where she met me and was able to have a good time and enjoy her summer like a regular teenager. Even now, as she is married and running a house of her own as an adult, she tells me how she misses camp and how her experiences with kars4kids changed her life!
