I have volunteered with AIWR for three months. I have a very busy schedule working full time and taking care of my three little children and it might seem that this volunteering position would cause difficulties in my life. However, that is not true at all. On a personal level, it helped me feel like I was doing something valuable and important and giving back to the society. I enjoyed every moment of classes with my Nepali student. I feel like I learned as much from her as she did from me. It was an amazing experience and I would love to volunteer for AIWR as long as I can.
