Review for Red Creek Wildlife Center Inc, Schuykl Havn, PA, USA
The level of care the injured wildlife recieves at Red Creek is just incredible. Every single animal in the facility is the most important animal there. Peggy and Morrie are two of the most dedicated human beings I have ever had the privilege of meeting; nothing comes before the animals. Nothing. They drop everything any time of day or night, 365 days a year to respond to injured animal calls, and have offered up their home to the animals in their care. Voolunteers are given the opportunity to work with truly awesome creatures alongside two of the most knowlegable people in the field. There was not a single shift that went by without my having learned countless new things about my environment and the animals that inhabit it.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
having personally been present and assisting in emergency injured animal calls and seeing firsthand the efficiency and excellent level of care provided to every new patient at the center.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
expand their space and staff!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
being able to work closely with indigenous wildlife and to take advantage of the incredible breadth of knowledge possessed by the directors of the organization.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
enthusiastic, knowledgable and dedicated!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand its space, hire some much needed 24hour staff and invest in some more high tech equipment.
Ways to make it better...
I had more time in my schedule to dedicate to pulling shifts at Redcreek!
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
a lack of funding for staffing to take the immense pressure off of the directors who run it sometimes completely on their own, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
