I have two boys, ages 14 and 10, that have been riding with GallopNYC since the age of 3! They are both non-verbal and need full assistance with walking. When they first started they both needed a lot of prompting and support by the side riders. Now they need very little support and they absolutely love it! This program is such a wonderful opportunity for our children, being that there are not many activities available for them, and seeing the improvements in their abilities is a feeling like no other! The staff is amazing, patient, kind and understanding! We are so happy to see how much the program has expanded and how many more children and adults are able to get the benefits from being around these wonderful animals!
