Review for Elixir Fund, Princeton Jct., NJ, USA
I have 2 friends in disparate circumstances undergoing cancer treatment: one is a young man living in NYC and the other is a senior woman living in rural North Carolina. I asked Elixir Fund to send them each a Care BAsket and made a donation to the Fund to help cover the expenses. The baskets were each fuilled with useful, carefully-chosen items that helped each of them get through treatments with more comfort, good cheer and entertainment. Elixir Fund truly gives care to the cancer patient's "soul" while the medicine is healing the body.
