There is no one more committed than Holly Thoms. Bright and certainly as knowledgeable and educated about animals as the best of them, Holly is devoted to using that knowledge and all her abilities to make the world better for shelter animals and the community. A true animal advocate, she is hard-working, dedicated, personable, and committed. Holly understands the bigger picture as well as the importance of the day-to-day and best practices for animal shelters. She is open to new ideas - and a champion of what works. And she is always willing to learn more.
I worked closely with Holly a few years back on a project she was instrumental in helping to lead in our state - closing the remaining gas chambers in Michigan - and in connection with the on-going effort to pass State legislation to ban their use permanently. From the big picture to the day-to-day, Holly never faltered. My only regret is that I'm too far to offer hands-on help with her shelter. I support her 100%!
