In December 2014 the most beautiful face of a Mini Schnauzer presented itself in a photo from a rescue group. The eyes looked right through my soul. After all this beautiful creature had been through, he was happy. During the time after being rescued off the streets of PR, he received so much love, medical attention, nutrition and had been nurtured so completely, that his spirit was restored and his trust had begun to come back. TLC had not only saved his life, but his existence has since touched so many lives. His gentle spirit and ability to calm and bring a sense of peace to all that meet him, amaze me. He has such wonderment and curiosity as if he sees the world as a beautiful adventure and he is so full of joy that he shares through his interactions with other animals as well as his humans. Tammy and TLC did not just pull him off the street one day, they created an advocate. Hope that others could learn that each and every creature has the powerful ability to become special in ways unfathomable. I will continue to support such a fine group of volunteers in any way I can. This is Elliott on the left with his brother Walter. They are the ones who rescued us!!
