Amazing people with amazing animals would probably be the easiest way to sum up this non-profit but that wouldn't do it justice. GallopNYC has helped me grow so much as a person and has helped me figure out my path in life. I've loved horses for years but finding out that they're used as a form of therapy was mind-boggling. Working with the riders, I've seen amazing success in many different forms. From the child that was terrified to even step near an animal bigger than they were, becoming a confident equestrian, to others who have trouble walking when on the ground but manage to move their horse gracefully through multiple obstacles.The bonds these riders establish with not only their horse but with the friends they make during lessons is incredible.
