Fostering / training for Handi-Dogs Rescue To Service program is one of the most rewarding experiences! It's unlike other foster opportunities because you really get to be part of the progression of the dog from rescue/shelter to his/her forever home with a person with a disability. It's like pieces of a puzzle... you help save a dog, the dog helps save a person and the person with a disability gets a new lease on life! I really feel lucky to be one of the pieces of such a valuable puzzle!
