The LGBT Center is my favorite place in Raleigh. The people are friendly, the library is huge, and they have great snacks. It is a great place to just breathe and exist with no judgment.

This is a safe, welcoming space for everyone. They have a comprehensive library and offer a wide variety of programs for people in the LGBT community and their allies.

This is the most caring, accepting place I have ever had the pleasure of spending time. There are so many good things about the LGBT Center ... the wide range of programs, the phenomenal library with a huge collection of books and dvds, the comfortable facility, sponsorship of Out! Raleigh, free HIV/STI testing open to the public, etc ... but the absolute best thing is the people. James and Kelly have created a safe oasis where people can just relax, breathe, and know that they are accepted and welcome. Seeing my friends at the center is the highlight of my week.
