We have been taking our birdies here for about two years and I regret not bringing them here all along. We drive 1.5 hours to go to the burge. Why you ask? Because Ms. burge and her team have a mass of SHEAR knowledge and experience. She does parakeet hysteretomies for crying out loud, thats AWESOME. She knows what she is doing, her prices wont break the bank, she is honest, and run the burge bird rescue, which helps SO SO many poor birdies who dont have homes or owners couldnt afford medical care. We had an egg bound cockatiel last year. She stayed in birdie hospital for almost two weeks and had surgery to remove the egg and it was under 200 dollars. We wouldbt have been able to afford the 700 dollars that kstate quoted us.
Julie is a blunt person, and if you dont like her, fine, but you can at least appreciate her shear knowledge, skill, and expertise. She is an AMAZING vet.
