This year, I have been in Chicago, so I follow & support Shadow Cats from afar. I miss the hands-on volunteer work and camaraderie, but it's an honor to support this special place by whatever means I'm able to. Thanks to Shadow Cats, cats who would not otherwise get a chance get to live happy lives with affection, medical care, and cat friends. I look forward to returning to the sanctuary and caring directly for the cats.

I learned of Shadow Cats from a friend, and then became a sponsor of one feleuk cat. After about a year of supporting Shadow Cats, I decided to volunteer. It's a wonderful place, where a lot of hard-luck cats who wouldn't have a chance elsewhere get to live out their best lives. I find it very fulfilling to help care for these cats with a wonderful group of directors, vet techs, and fellow volunteers.
